The renovation to this impressive executive home in the Melbourne suburb of Sandringham included a new outdoor dining area and pool.
Jones Joinery was challenged with creating doors for a large expanse along the rear of the house. The objective was to create a flexible and open space to accommodate an outdoor dining area while still maintaining uninterrupted views across to the pool.
This challenge was met by using a combination of bifold and sliding doors. Jones Joinery custom made corner bifolds in a 3×4 configuration to open up the indoor living space, blending it seamlessly with the alfresco dining area.
The sliding doors provide unobstructed views across the pool and garden when closed. When open they integrate indoor and outdoor spaces, creating a seamless flow between the two areas.
Victorian ash and laminated glass was used for both bifold and sliding doors, together with quality Centor hardware.
