La Cantina sliding doors maximise the use of space while providing a seamless transition from indoor living areas to outdoor spaces. Our sliding doors are as fashionable as they are functional.
Made to measure
La Cantina sliding doors can be manufactured to any design specification. There is virtually no limit to the size you can cover – our biggest so far has been 12 metres. We use sliding stackers so that each panel slides into each other, and to open the space right up the slides can fit inside wall cavities. Our sliding door systems are supplied as a complete package with all handles, locks and bolts included.
Made to perform
Everything about La Cantina doors are made to perform better and last longer. We use the best quality materials and hardware in the industry to ensure long-lasting durability and trouble-free operation. We use Centor fittings for top hung sliding doors (over 120kgs) and Truth wheels for bottom track sliding doors.
Integrated flyscreens
Our sliding doors now come with quality flywire screens built in – which literally disappear into the door frame when not in use. The Centor flyscreens provide a stylish solution to annoying insect problems and suit openings as large as 3 metres high and 5.8 metres wide.

Materials
We use only the best quality materials to ensure years of reliability and durability.
Wood Door System
Timber frames are constructed from select grade wood, which is dried and seasoned to our specifications. All our wood comes from sustainably managed forests and includes kiln dried Victorian ash, WA jarrah, flooded gum, spotted gum, western red cedar and Greenpeace certified rosewood from Papua New Guinea.
The track system is designed to give up to 10mm of adjustment to accommodate movement over time.
Aluminium Door System
A range of precision-made powder coated aluminium doors is also available. Our use of use heavy duty commercial grade aluminium and superior quality fixtures and fittings ensure long-lasting maintenance-free living.

Hardware
We use the best quality hardware to ensure easy operation and long-lasting durability. For example, we use Eclipse™ tracks and rollers from Centor Architechture to ensure the operation is smooth & effortless. Tracks and hinges are commercial grade aluminium, while hinge pins, carrier pins and carrier bogeys are stainless steel.
Wood Door System
All hardware, including locks, bolts and handles, are from Centor Architecture, to ensure durability & trouble free operation.
The sealing of the doors and the weathsealed heads, sills and jambs ensure that our doors are as functional as they are stylish.
Aluminium Door System
We use Lockwood locks and handles and lockable Interlock flush bolts from Centor.

Glass
You can control how much of the outside you let in by the type of glass you choose. We can tailor the glass for your doors and windows to your exact needs and specifications from a vast array of choices, including:
- Clear laminated (standard 6.38mm)
- ComfortPlusTM (6.38mm)—provides thermal insulation and solar control, reducing UV as well as noise; grade A safety glass.
- Low-e energy efficient —low emissivity glass with higher levels of solar control and thermal insulation; 99.9% UV protected.
- Acoustic (6.76mm)
- Double-glazed —provides insulation (doesn’t reduce noise).
- Argon-filled double-glazed —argon gas increases insulation properties.
- Sound-proof (10.38mm)—reduces noise.
